Oilfield Brine Wastewater Treatment (ORSIL) Pilot Plant
This wastewater treatment pilot project for a patent pending treatment process, which removes dissolved silica and organics from waste brine creating a solid suitable for Class II landfill and an aqueous phase suitable for deep well disposal (Class 1b well), was operated for 3 months. The pilot successfully demonstrated the water treatment process and confirmed design parameters for the commercial scale facility.
